Meadow GM Wins OAAA Hall of Fame Award for 2023

At the annual OAAA conference in May, Chris Zukin was recognized for his 43 years of outstanding work within the outdoor advertising industry.  Chris’s career has included work at or ownership of outdoor companies in Wyoming, Louisiana, and Oregon.

Chris is the acting head of Meadow and humbly refuses to use any title but General Manager.  He has overseen the company’s growth from a handful of employees and a modest profit to 40 employees and an annual gross revenue of over $12 million dollars. Chris has championed the company’s gratis program where advertising space is given to local charities and non-profits for a free or reduced rate, amounting to tens of thousands of dollars of donated ad space every year.

For these reasons and others, Chris was given the honor of being inducted into the OAAA Hall of Fame after being nominated by his younger brother, Mike Zukin, Meadow’s current CFO. This award came almost exactly 10 years after Chris and Mike’s late father and founder of the company, Joe Zukin, won the same award. Both Chris’ and Joe’s awards now sit side by side on a shelf in the company’s main conference room.
