Giving Advertising to Support the Local Community

At Meadow Outdoor we believe that we are part of a community and have a responsibility to give back when we can. The most common way Meadow contributes to the local community is through what we call gratis advertising. This free advertising is for non-profits, charities, or local events that encourage relationships, and commerce in our area. Meadow has been providing lots of gratis advertising this summer, let’s take a look at what’s been going on in the community!

-          Shaniko Days, an annual local festival.

-          Mom Prom, a fundraiser for a young girl with cancer.

-          Alzheimer’s Awareness, a benefit concert to raise awareness.

-          Cruise the Gorge, an annual car club event.

-          Child Evangelism Fellowship, a local Christian charity with an outdated sign.

-          Overdose Awareness, advertising for a local awareness march.

-          Thank you firefighters message, to show Meadow’s appreciation for our local firefighters.

Though Meadow provides gratis year round, the summer is a popular time for events and Meadow wanted to help promote these worthy causes. When Meadow has some open billboard inventory sometimes gratis can be put on the larger signs. Or we will post smaller 4x8 ft. signs below the larger ones, as in the case of cruise the gorge. Either way, Meadow wants to do what we can to build up the community in a way that only we can!
